The lady (Jessica Daniels) who helped me through the process was completely lovely and unbelievably helpful from start to finish. She made the whole application process completely stress free and easy for us. She responded to emails usually within the hour and was equally wonderful when we spoke on the phone. In all honesty, I have never had a better experience dealing with someone on something such as this. Couldn’t have been more impressed or happy with any part of it.

The service was outstanding from 1st point of contact Jessica Daniels explained the full process setting us at ease, Jessica was on hand by phone and email to help us every step of the way. As I sufferer from Dyslexia it was a God sent to have her help.. She patiently helped explained each step of the process.
It can seem like a very daunting task but with the councils guidance it’s a smooth process.. I would recommend to all applicants the Licensing Direct Service is worth every penny and gives you great peace of mind you have correctly completed forms.

I applaud Cornwall’s innovative approach, which has real potential to help publicans negotiate the red tape around licencing, saving everyone time and money, creating a one stop shop for businesses like pubs which can need more than one licence. We would like to say that this is the second time we have used this to sort out our Licensing needs. The officer has been more than helpful with organising the transfer of premises licences, supervisors and DPS without a hitch. We really wouldn’t even bother trying to do it any other way now.
It is far easier and considerably cheaper than using a third party. You can also manage the entire process yourself with a little help.
