As I have a new team I thought that the Business Advice service would be the best way to get them to understand what is expected and how we can achieve a great result. I was more than impressed with our visit and it was extremely helpful to us all as a team and especially for me as a business.
The officer who visited us was amazing, very friendly, easy to talk to and was extremely helpful. She advised us on some things which would be useful for us and sent me over numerous links that I could download and use to improve my understanding and gave me information that I could use to cover myself.
I would highly recommend anyone to use this business advice package whether you are a new or old business.

A full Care Safety Direct inspection was undertaken, which was both professional and yet friendly, feedback was given immediately so we could compile an action plan, this was followed with a comprehensive report highlighting recommendations. At Bonaer we have worked through these recommendations and it has given us a Health and Safety benchmark to present to our CQC inspector, this in turn will save them time on their inspection, and show to them that we are complying with guidance and regulation, so they can concentrate on the care needs of our residents.
