- and ensure that it is appropriate for pension payments to continue to be made to you.
What is it?
Every year we conduct an overseas pension existence exercise. This process verifies the well-being of our overseas pensioners and ensures that pension payments continue.
Due to the diverse and occasionally inaccessible nature of overseas death registers, we are unable to carry out mortality screening against them for our overseas pensioners. For UK residents this is done as part of an ongoing routine process.
How is this carried out?
You will be notified in writing when this exercise is underway. You will be provided details on the available options to complete the necessary checks.
