State pension
All UK residents can claim their pension online using the State Pension Online service. It only takes 20 minutes to complete and is available 24/7. It's a secure and easy to use service with online help provided along the way plus online claims can be completed in multiple sittings. If you haven't got everything you need to hand, simply save your online claim and return to it within 30 days. You can also save and print a copy for your own records.
From December 2015 you can also use the online service to make a new State Pension claim.
The gov.uk website also contains information about qualifying for a state pension and how to obtain an estimate.
If you are receiving a state pension, this is separate to the FPS2006 and FPS2015.
