Penmount Crematorium is a publicly owned, self financed facility administered by Cornwall Council. Penmount is situated two miles from the city centre of Truro on a secluded country estate of twenty-eight acres. Eleven of those acres have been developed as Gardens of Remembrance.
Books of Remembrance Update
Due to Covid restrictions, the Book of Remembrance Room is currently closed.
It has not been possible to re-open it due to ongoing restrictions and the confined nature of this room. We have made alternative arrangements so that the books can be viewed again. They are now displayed in the three bay windows at the front of the main building, including the Baby Book of Remembrance.
