How to get here
By car
Penmount Crematorium is on the A39 Truro to Newquay road two miles north of the city of Truro. Penmount is easily accessible by car. There is ample parking on site.
By bus
A bus service (Truro to Newquay) passes the entrance. Visitors using this service should alight at Penmount Lodge.
Access on foot from Truro is not recommended as there are no pedestrian facilities on this section of the A39.
Visiting hours
The Gardens and Memorial Hall (Books of Remembrance, Flower Room and Columbarium) are open to the public daily at the following times:
The gardens may be closed due to essential maintenance work or due to severe weather conditions for your safety. In severe weather please check with the Crematorium whether the gardens are open or closed to save you a wasted journey/disappointment.
Summer opening:
- Weekdays 8.30am to 6pm including Sundays/Bank Holidays
Winter opening:
- Weekdays 8.30am to dusk including Sunday/Bank Holidays

Facilities
Toilet facilities, including disabled toilets and baby changing unit, can be found behind The Columbarium at the rear of the Main Building. There are also toilet facilities in the Trelawny Chapel on the right hand side on entering the Chapel.
