What is a Resident season ticket?
Our Resident Season Ticket allows the residents of Cornwall to buy a specific permit which is 50% of the cost of a 6 month, 7 month or Annual Season Ticket.
Season tickets are available for many of our long stay car parks. If you regularly use the same car park, a season ticket can provide savings on paying the standard daily fees.
The majority of our tickets are now electronic.
Resident season tickets are also available in our Pay on Exit (barrier) car parks.

All our tickets are electronic so you don’t have a ticket to display in your windscreen.
Resident season tickets offer reduced rate parking for those who park regularly in one car park. They can be purchased in 6 month, 7 months or Annual options.
Who is eligible for a Resident Season Ticket?
To be eligible, applicants must reside in Cornwall for a minimum of 6 months of the year. This should be evidenced in your application by submitting the following documentation:
- Either a Domestic Council Tax Bill showing the applicant resides within Cornwall Council (Business rates will not be accepted)
- Or a tenancy Agreement for the duration of the permit AND a utility bill dated in the last 3 months
There is a maximum allowance of two Residents Season Tickets per property.

Permit applications need to be reviewed by the permit team so must be applied for at least 5 days before you want your permit to start.
The permit will not be active until the day specified on the application, and any parking sessions prior to this date will require payment via the Parking Machine or the JustPark App.

Buy your season ticket online
Resident season tickets are available to buy online using our permit system. If you haven't used it before you will need to create an account first but it is very quick and easy to do.
When you buy a ticket online:
- tickets will start a minimum of 5 days from the day you apply
- you can make one vehicle change per ticket purchased for free
- you can set your own SMS or email reminders so you don't forget to renew your ticket

Make changes to your account
To make changes to your account you will need to login to your online permit account.
Through your account you can:
- View all your permit/ticket details
- Make one vehicle change per permit/ticket (this is not available for Rover tickets)
- Amend your contact information
Buy a permit/ticket through the parking permit team
When you buy a permit/ticket through the permits team:
- tickets can only start after we have contacted you. This can take up to 10 days
- one vehicle change per ticket purchased can be made through your online permit account (free of charge). If you would like us to do this on your behalf there will be a £10 admin fee. Changes can take up to 5 working days to be processed so you must advise us in advance.
- reminders can be sent a month in advance by text or email, charges may apply.
