Pay a parking fine
You can pay a parking fine online. You’ll need the penalty charge notice number and the vehicle registration number when you pay. If you’ve lost your ticket, we should be able to trace it using your vehicle registration number.
Council car parks
You can find our car park locations, charges and facilities by looking at our parking pages.
Blue badge disabled parking permits
The national blue badge scheme provides parking concessions for people with certain disabilities. A blue badge lets you park closer to the shops and services you need to use. This is whether you’re the driver or a passenger in a car.
The blue badge is for on-street parking only. There are different rules for off-street parking, like council, hospital or supermarket car parks.
Free disabled parking when you don't pay car tax
Blue Badge holders are able to park for free in a Cornwall Council pay and display car park if they:
- have a vehicle that is adapted for the benefit of the driver to use or
- they are registered on the Cornwall Council exemption scheme
This scheme is open to all blue badge holders who also have a registered disabled vehicle which qualifies for free tax. It is not limited to Cornish residents.
Only one vehicle can be registered per person.
Appeal a parking fine
If you believe your penalty charge notice was wrongly issued, you can challenge it. Don’t pay the charge if you want to make a challenge. Challenges can’t be accepted if you’ve already paid.
If you make a challenge within 14 days of the date of issue you will have another chance to pay at the 50% reduced rate if your challenge is rejected.
