Our Family Hubs support the delivery of services for families, children and young people aged from pre-birth to 19 years old (or up to 25 years for anyone with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities). We have 23 Family Hubs across Cornwall.
Family Hubs offer a friendly, informal atmosphere for families to be supported by professionals, meet with other families and access high-quality services.
Family Hubs are a great way to access programmes and services such as:
- Start for Life
- Child Health Clinics
- Dads Together activity and support
- Healthy Start
- Infant Feeding and Breastfeeding Support
- Parenting courses, advice and support
- The Family Information Service
- Child and family health services
- Antenatal, child development, Early Years and Early Help
- Social care
- Physical and mental health and wellbeing
- Services from voluntary and community organisations
- Information, advice and guidance
- Education, employment and training
All children have the right to access services and support. Each Family Hub follows the National Centre for Family Hubs' three key delivery principles of access, connection and relationships.

Penzance Family Hub is located in St John's Hall in Alverton Street. Parking is available at Penalverne and Well Fields car parks. There is a bus stop outside the First and Last Pub nearby.

This hub is self-service. Practitioners access the Hub themselves, there are no staff based here.

Facilities
There is a range of smart rooms for activities, meetings or consultations. The Hub is available for bookings for groups, one-to-one meetings, health reviews and more.
The Hub also has a small kitchenette.
There is no wifi at Penzance Family Hub.
