Reserved parking permits

  • A reserved parking permit lets you park in a reserved space in a named Council car park
  • The permit lasts for 12 months
  • We do not have any car parks spaces available for reservation for anything less than 12 months

Apply for a reserved parking permit

All of our reserved car park spaces are extremely popular and we won’t have a space available immediately in many of them.

We have vacancies in the following car parks available on a first come, first served basis

  • Back Lane, Callington
  • North Street, St Austell
  • Bosvigo Road, Truro
  • Cattle Market, Liskeard

We do keep a ‘waiting list’ of people who wish to have a space so that we can make contact when one becomes vacant.

Unfortunately spaces are not often vacant and that means the average waiting time for spaces is 1 to 2 years. In several locations times can be longer, for example in St. Ives waiting times will be 5 to 6 years.

If you wish to be added to a waiting list please contact us with details of

  • The name of the car park you want a space in
  • Your full name, address, email address and phone number

For spaces in;

  • Newlyn
  • Mousehole
  • St Ives
  • Falmouth

we have varying eligibility policies to be permitted a space.

We will need to check that you will be eligible before we can add you to the list.

Reserved spaces in these locations are only available for either

  • residents
  • or business holders of those towns

and you will need to provide council tax or business rates evidence before you can be placed on the list.

  • If you are a resident or business owner please contact us to find out what the specific eligibility criteria is for the car park you wish to park in.
  • If you are not a resident or business owner then you will not be eligible for a space.

Yes, you can make vehicle changes yourself online for free. See below for change limits that apply to your permit
