Deputy Council leader sends open letter to government sounding alarm over funding

Carton and Paper containers recycling
We are not currently able to collect drinks and juice cartons or paper containers with metal ends, such as Pringles tubes, for recycling as part of our kerbside recycling service.
However, you can take them for recycling at 10 Household Waste and Recycling Centres (HWRCs) across Cornwall.
At these banks you can recycle:
Pringles tubes
Hot chocolate or gravy tubs
Peanuts tubs
Juice cartons
Milk cartons

Restaurant ordered to pay over £25,000 in fines and costs for food hygiene offences
A Newquay restaurant owner has been ordered to pay more than £25,000 in fines and costs following a string of food hygiene offences.
Maximo Grande-Vargas,55, and GSDE Ltd, owners of Terraza, an Italian restaurant in Newquay, pleaded guilty to six food hygiene offences at a hearing at Bodmin Magistrates Court on Tuesday, December 19.
The court heard how inspectors found rotting, mouldy and out of date foods at the premise.....

Common Land Application fees
This page explains the fees payable to Cornwall Council as the commons registration authority for the county of Cornwall.
From 15 December 2014 certain fees will also be payable to the Planning Inspectorate acting as the determining authority for certain applications. Please see paragraphs 17(6), 26(2)(3) and (4) and Schedule 6 to the Commons Registration (England) Regulations 2014.
