Council tax support helps people who have no income or a low income to pay their council tax.
We can’t backdate council tax support, so it’s important to apply as soon as possible.
Self Service and Council Tax and benefit online forms will be unavailable from 8am on Wed 25 - 8pm Sat 28 February.
Registering for an account is free and easy and will allow you to view your council tax support and housing benefit online
You may be entitled to money off your council tax bill, or you may not have to pay at all (called an exemption)
Housing Benefit is for help with rent payments if you're not working, on a low income, or in receipt of other benefits
