About the evidence library

The developing Cornwall Local Plan is supported by a wide range of evidence.  These documents:

• Provide a baseline for the Local Plan and describe Cornwall as it is currently

• Inform the development of the Local Plan's strategy and policies

• Provide the basis for decisions about development needs and locations

• Support the Local Plan through independent examination

All the documents we rely upon in preparing the Local Plan are in accordance with the Town and Country Planing (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2026 (Regulation 8).
