Celebratory Services

Hello! We are 'Celebratory Services' which forms part of the Cornwall Council Registration Service.

We have a team of over 80 Ceremony Registrars covering the whole of Cornwall. If you want a legal civil marriage or civil partnership in Cornwall we are the only people that can deliver.

Alternatively if you would prefer a ceremony which has no legal status, but suits your purposes better, we can do this for you.

The foundations of our service are steeped in tradition and trust. Our roots extend back to 1837 when civil marriages were first introduced. Over the years we have gained a wealth of experience. We have now built upon these foundations to forge a new position in celebratory services; one that is fit for purpose in a modern day society. A Service that celebrates your individuality!

Ceremony Booking Team

We are here to make it easy. Our own friendly and knowledgeable staff are available to answer your enquiry or make your booking.  Usually no waiting in queues or passing you off to others; just plain simple advice and help at your first point of contact. Whether you have definite ceremony plans or a seed of an idea they will be happy to guide you along your journey.

Registration Office Team

Our team of professional registration officers working at twelve offices across the County. If you have opted for a ‘legal status’ ceremony or need to ‘give notice’ in Cornwall these are the staff that will help you through that process. They will ensure that all the ‘I’s’ are dotted and ‘T’s’ are crossed so your ceremony can proceed smoothly with no last minute legal hitches.

Due to our increasing popularity we now have over 80 ceremony registrar staff across Cornwall.  They are there to ensure that your ceremony is special and tailored to your requirements. Their job isn’t ‘just any job’ it’s a ‘Cornwall Council Celebratory Services’ vocation and they take pride in delivering the ceremony you want.
