Eco-Friendly Certifying Organisations
B Corp - Certified B Corporations, or B Corps, are companies verified by B Lab to meet high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability.
Sustainable Wedding Alliance - A UK-based certification designed specifically for the wedding industry. It helps venues and suppliers embed sustainability into their business and wedding services, covering environmental, social, and operational practices.
Green Tourism - A UK-based sustainability certification that helps tourism and hospitality businesses - including wedding venues - measure, improve, and promote their environmental and social responsibility.
Planet Mark - Sustainability certification that helps organisations measure and reduce their carbon footprint, engage stakeholders, and communicate their progress transparently. It’s recognised by the UNFCCC and aligned with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
EarthCheck - A globally recognised certification for sustainability in the travel and tourism industry. It helps businesses - like hotels, resorts, and venues - measure, manage, and improve their environmental and social impact.
David Bellamy Conservation Award Scheme - a UK-based environmental initiative that recognises and supports holiday parks and tourism businesses for their commitment to conservation and sustainability. Developed in partnership with botanist and broadcaster Professor David Bellamy, and managed by the British Holiday & Home Parks Association.
