Children's Community Health

The Children's Community Health teams provide:

  • health visitors
  • school nurses
  • some specialist speech and language therapy staff across Cornwall

We provide child and family health services as well as services for vulnerable children and families.

Children's Social Care

Children's social care services lead on safeguarding children and young people.  We also support families, working with others, to deliver a wide range of services to help and protect vulnerable children. This includes the Council’s adoption and fostering services.

Education

Education services work with schools and academies to ensure that all children and young people have access to education and achieve their potential. We also provide adult and community education services.

Our Family Information Service website also provides information, advice and support to families.  Including childcare, SEND local offer and Youth Kernow.
