Order outdoor food caddies, recycling bags and boxes
You can order the following extra or replacement recycling containers:
- Orange bag for cardboard
- Red bag for plastic and metal packaging
- Blue bag for paper
- Black box for glass and textiles

Fly tipping
You can report fly tipping online. We can only remove flytips from land we own or manage like a highway, pavement or public open space.
The Council is not responsible for clearing and collecting fly-tips on private land. This should be reported to the landowner.

Clinical waste collections including sharps
We collect infectious clinical waste separately from your household waste. For this we use a dedicated collection vehicle.

Recycling centre vehicle permits
Some vehicles need a permit to visit a household waste and recycling centre (HWRC). Some vehicles over a certain size are not permitted at all.
Vehicle permits for HWRCs are valid for 12 visits in a 12-month period.
