Post 16

The SEND service, like many services across the UK is currently experiencing higher than normal staff sickness. This is having an impact on our service delivery. We are reviewing systems to mitigate this issue. We recognise the importance of timely communication. However, we respectfully thank parents and carers for their patience and support at this time.

Post-16 information for all young people in Year 9 or above who have an Education Health and Care plan

Cornwall Council and CSW Group have published a series of podcasts/videos. These are from a wide range of post-16 settings and are still available so you can see what the options are when you finish school.

You can watch them all or as many as you like. Your school will also have this information. If you are unable to view these online we can send you a paper copy.

CSW Group can help with making choices and decision making. Please contact your school and ask to meet with them. Or ring CSW Group on 0800 975 5111 (freephone) and they will contact you to help. CSW Group will write a report to let us know what your preferred setting is.

We will also send a letter to all Year 11s. The letter will ask you to send us your final preference for post-16 education by the end October. Please select the links below to make sure you have taken a look at what is available.
