Every service is different, just as everyone we remember was different.
Penmount is the only council owned crematorium within Cornwall. Set in 28 acres of memorial grounds it is a place to celebrate the lives of those who are no longer with us as well to take time to pause and remember.
We work with your chosen funeral director, Minister or Celebrant to help make the service for a loved one as appropriate and individual as you wish. We have supported families across Cornwall and beyond for seventy years. Penmount has developed and grown with a team who care for you, the ones you loved and the environment.

We have 11 acres of formal Gardens of Remembrance which are open all year round to all visitors.
The book of remembrance can be viewed in the memorial hall next to the Kernow Chapel. It can also be viewed online.
Writing a letter to a loved one
There is a white post-box at Penmount for anyone who wishes to write to those who they have loved and are no longer with us.
