Ceremony room
An attractive room in a listed building with period features, comfortably seating up to 20 guests depending on your ceremony choice.
The colour scheme is muted with natural tones of grey which provide a neutral and modern backdrop to your ceremony. The high backed grey upholstered chairs arranged in an arc facing the bay window, are complimented by simple chandeliers and two large turquoise table lamps which provide an elegant setting to contract your marriage or civil partnership, whether you have two guests or twenty.
Entrance to the building is through a large, attractive, old, arch doorway fronted by a couple of shallow steps - popular with our couples for photos before and after the ceremony - or via the disabled access alongside it. There is a large reception area just inside the front door to greet your guests before you make your way along to the ceremony room, past an impressive staircase and old photos of the house and family who lived here before it became a Register Office.
Free car parking is available on site and you are welcome to take photos in the grounds. The only thing we ask is that you don’t throw confetti around the entrance or on pathways as it can be a hazard for other building users and members of the public if it gets wet. You are welcome to throw biodegradable confetti elsewhere in the grounds.
Your wedding can be as simple or sophisticated as you wish. What is important to us is finding out what matters to you and we have a number of packages that we offer within our Ceremony Rooms.
