Scaffolding Obstructing Highway – Gabriel Street, St Ives
18 April to 18 June 2023
Due to scaffolding outside the library on Gabriel Street in St Ives, First Land’s End Coaster and Services 160 and 200 are unable to operate via this road and are on diversion. Buses towards Land’s End from St Ives Bus Station will operate to Lelant Roundabout then via the Old Coach Road, Lelant Downs to Balnoon to the B3301 where they will resume their normal route. Buses towards St Ives will operate the reverse of this. During the works these buses will be unable to serve the Higher Stennack area of St Ives.
Road Closure – Wesley Road, Cubert
15 May to 23 June 2023 (Closure will be removed between 26 May and 4 June)
Due to sewer works there will be closures on Wesley Road between the 15 May and 23 June. During the closure periods Go-Cornwall Service 85 and First Service U1A will not be able to serve stops on Wesley Road diverting between Cubert and Crantock via the A3075. School contract buses will be allowed access through the closure at school times. This will impact on the timings of services please refer to the operator’s web sites for further information.
Road Closure – Waterings Road, Mylor Bridge
30 May to 8 June 2023
Waterings Road will be closed between 30 May and 8 June, during the closure period OTS Service 69 will divert via Saltings Road.
Road Closure – Swanpool Road, Falmouth
5 and 6 June 2023
Due to roadworks there will be a closure on Swanpool Road between 0930 and 1600 on the 5 and 6 June. It is hoped the closure will be lifted during Tuesday morning. During the closure OTS Service 64/64A will operate under diversion and will be unable to serve its full route, and will operate the same route as the 65/65A service via Boslowick Road. Road Closures – Trevol Road, Torpoint
5 to 13 June 2023
Due to resurfacing works there will be a series of road closures along Trevol Road on weekdays only between 0930 and 1600. During the closure hours Go-Cornwall Services 70, 70A, 70B and 75 will operate under diversion and will be unable to serve all stops along the road. Overnight Road Closure B3359 Pelynt to East Taphouse
5 to 10 June 2023
Due to resurfacing works there will be an overnight closure on the B3359 north of Pelynt from 1900. This will affect the Travel Cornwall Service 428 departing Looe at 428. Please confirm diversion details with the operator.
Road Closure – Harlyn Bay Road, Harlyn Bay
5 June to 7 July 2023
Harlyn Bay Road will be closed between the 5 June and the 7 July. During the closure period Go-Cornwall Service 56 and the First Atlantic Coaster Service will be unable to serve Harlyn Bay. Passengers are advised to use the stop at St Merryn.
Overnight Road Closure A39 Arch Hill to Treluswell
5 to 9 June 2023
Due to highway maintenance works there will be overnight closures on the A39 from 1900 between the 5 and 9 June. Access will be maintained for buses but there may be delays to the U1/U1A service.
Road Closure – Wharf Road, Penzance
5 to 9 June 2023
Wharf Road will be closed between 0930 and 1600 from the 5 to the 9 June. During the closure period First Lands End Coaster will operate under diversion. From Penzance buses will divert via Market Jew Street and Alexandra Road. From Lands End the reverse will operate. The stop on Battery Road will not be served.
Road Closure – B3315 Treen to Porthcurno
5 to 9 June 2023
There will be a road closure on the B3315 at Treen between the 5 and 9 June. During the closure the First Lands End Coaster will operate under diversion between St Buryan and Porthcurno and will be unable to serve Treen. The diversion will cause significant delays to the service. For further information please refer to the First website.
Road Closure – B3306 Truthwall
From 5 June for approximately 3 weeks
Due to road repairs, the B3306 at Truthwall will be closed for approximately 3 weeks from the 5 June. During the closure the First Tin Coaster and Land’s End Coaster and the Go-Cornwall Service 18 will operate on diversion between Pendeen and St Just via the B3318 and A3071 and will not serve Carnyorth Botallack and Truthwall.
For the duration of the closure a shuttle bus 18S service will operate on Mondays to Saturdays only between Botallack and St Just. The times are:
