It is your responsibility to keep your details up to date, including your address. Please notify us of any changes no later than 28 days before your current card expires. This will avoid delays to the renewal process. Unfortunately, you cannot renew your bus pass at the library.
Renew a disabled person's bus pass
You can renew your disabled person's bus pass online. It is a quick and easy way to renew a pass that is expiring or has already expired.
If you're not able to apply online yourself you could ask someone to help, such as a family member or friend.
Please note - You will be asked to register for an account, this is new account just for a bus pass application.
Things to have ready before you start your application
- Evidence of Address
- Evidence of age or evidence of Eligibility
- National Insurance Number
- Valid email address
- Head and shoulders photograph of good quality. Due to copyright, we are unable to take copies of photographs from official documents such as Driving Licences or Passports. However, we do accept photographs from mobile devices such as 'Selfies'

Renew your senior bus pass
We automatically renew any Senior Passes that have been used within the last 12 months of the expiry date. We will not automatically renew any passes that haven’t been used, instead residents would need to request a new card by contacting concessionaryfares@cornwall.gov.uk
We will send your new pass to the postal address we hold for you so its important you notify us of any change of address.
Replace a bus pass that has been lost, damaged or stolen
You can apply and pay for a replacement bus pass online if:
- You have lost your senior or disabled bus pass
- Your pass is not working or is damaged
- Your pass has been stolen
Once a replacement card has been ordered it cannot be cancelled. If you find your previous card it will no longer work as it will have been deactivated.
From April 1st 2024, in line with the councils fees and charging policy, the cost of a replacement pass will be £10.60 per card.
