These statistics should not be compared to the Indices of Multiple Deprivation in England statistics. The IMD is an area-based index of deprivation whereas the census deprivation statistics are at a household level. A public consultation period on the deferred proposals closed on 29th April 2022. Please visit our Let's Talk Cornwall pages for more details on the proposals. During 2020,Cornwall Council sought proposals for change from all parishes in Cornwall. All proposals were reviewed against the key criteria within the Boundary Commission guidance.
