Suicide prevention and the promotion of good mental health is a key priority in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
The local suicide rate is higher than the average in the South West and England. On average more than one person dies by suicide every week in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. Each one of these deaths is a tragic loss. It has a devastating impact on families, friends, colleagues, communities and services.

A financial assessment looks at the money you have coming in and going out. This is to see whether you are eligible for help with the costs of care. It will also see how much you will need to pay towards your overall care costs.

NIHR HDRC Cornwall community small grant recipients

Council wins funding to set out green growth investment plans
Cornwall Council is drawing up proposals to boost private investment into nature and climate change initiatives after a £1m government cash injection.
The council is one of four local authorities across the country to receive funding through the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs’ Local Investment in Natural Capital (LINC) programme.
