Council welcomes funding announcement to help tackle potholes

Council nurse awarded title of Queen’s Nurse for commitment to children’s community health

A public health nurse who works for Cornwall Council has been awarded the prestigious title of Queen’s Nurse. Sue Adams, who has been in the profession for 42 years, found out she had received the accolade while with her delighted 93-year-old dad. Hop on board - Newquay Park and Ride is back for the summer! 

Passengers buying tickets for Newquay Park and Ride this summer will be able to use their tickets across all town bus services to help cut down on congestion in the town centre.  Based on land on the A392 opposite Hendra Holiday Park, the service will start on Saturday 20 July and run until Sunday 1 September. Significant cut in cost of seasonal parking ticket for Cornwall residents

Cornwall residents will pay half the cost for their seasonal parking ticket from April to help make parking more affordable for those who need to regularly park in a Council car park. Available for drivers who live in Cornwall for at least six months of the year, the Resident Season Ticket can be bought to cover a six, seven or 12 month time period.
