We are responsible for cleaning many beaches across Cornwall. We only clean beaches that we own or that are privately leased through the Council.
We prioritise the beaches depending on their location, usage and time of year.
We set the standards they are cleaned to and use the Defra Cleanliness National Indicators.
Cleaning is carried out by our contractor, Biffa Municipal Ltd.
