Can I recycle it?
Smoke alarms are not collected as part of your recycling collection and you should not place them in your general rubbish bin.
You can take your smoke alarm for recycling to any Household Waste and Recycling Centres.
Please remember to remove any batteries beforehand as they pose a significant fire hazard if disposed of incorrectly.
