- The Library is all on one level and wheelchair accessible. If you need any assistance, please ask a member of staff.
- The main front door is automated
- There are no public toilet (the nearest are at The Castle, when open, or next to Tourist Information)
- We have a range of accessible resources including large print books, dyslexic friendly books, audiobooks, quick reads and sensory stories. Please ask for more details.
- Quiet Times: We are generally quieter in the afternoons. Are quietest time is usually Friday afternoon. We are loudest on Friday mornings during our children’s signing session
- Home Delivery Service: If you are unable to get to the Library on a long term basis, please contact us, we can arrange a home delivery service via our volunteers.
Council payments and services
- National Concessionary bus pass applications are quick and easy to apply for online.
- Recycling bags and boxes can be ordered online. Please use the request recycling equipment / recycling containment online form.
- Council Payments. Payments for Council services cannot be taken at this location. This includes Council Tax or Business Rates. However there are a range of PayPoint and Post Office sites that accept both cash and card payments. Most Post Offices still accept cheques at no extra cost. Your account will be updated overnight.
