Autism and ADHD Support

Autistic people and those with ADHD face distinct challenges at various stages of their lives. Inclusion Cornwall have compiled a resource of organisations that offer help and support.

Mental Health Safety Plans

Mental Health Safety Plans are a preventative tool designed to help support those who struggle with mental wellbeing. It may be difficult to think clearly when you feel really low or incredibly overwhelmed. It may be difficult to ignore these feelings. Safety plans are best created when not in crisis. Orange Button Community Scheme

People struggling with mental ill health, having thoughts of suicide or worried about a friend or family member, can now "push the button" when they see someone displaying a distinctive orange badge and ask them for information and support. Sound Doctor training for people at work

Free Online mental health training is now available for all working people across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. The training package has been developed and hosted by the Sound Doctor. It includes three modules covering psychological first aid, mental health and trauma awareness. Find out more on the mental health training for working people page.

Towards Zero

In Cornwall the ‘Towards Zero Suicide’ campaign began in 2016. It has run successfully since then.  We have continued with the annual Towards Zero events as a way to bring together a community of people who are working to reduce suicides in the county. Training

Free online and in person mental health and suicide first aid training is available for anyone who lives or works in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. Whether you want to develop your own understanding or that of your community or organisation, our training team in Healthy Cornwall has identified key areas of health promotion and developed relevant training that meets the needs of those who live and work here.
