Where you can find mental health support in Cornwall
The NHS Cornwall and Isles of Scilly mental health information hub has information about different conditions, such as anxiety and depression.
People in Mind is a collaboration between a number of community sector organisations. They offer mental health support for people who are 16 and older in in Cornwall and Isles of Scilly. You can call 01872 266383 or email gateway@ageukcornwall.org.uk
Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust has has published a series of mental health self-help guides. These guides can be found on their website and are available in audio, British Sign Language and easy read format.
Pentreath is a charity based in Cornwall, which promotes good mental health through personal development, education and employment.

The Mental Health Foundation website has support for adult mental health.
We have specific information provided in BSL with subtitles, around mental health for d/Deaf people.
The Mind Infoline provides a confidential mental health information services.
Grassroots Real Talk
Real Talk About Suicide An interactive film (30 min) where you make choices. You decide what to do and see how it affects the story.
NHS Health Education England/Public Health
We Need to Talk About Suicide A course (60-90 min) for anyone who regularly comes into contact with members of the public in their day-to-day role. By the end, you should feel more confident about talking to someone who might be thinking about suicide. The course may also encourage you to discuss any concerns you have about suicide with your colleagues and family members.
This course matches the Public Mental Health Leadership and Development Framework and Mental Health Core Skills Education and Training Framework.
Elements included are: Introduction, Why Talking Matters, Risks and Warning Signs, What You Could Say, Support and Wellbeing, Next Steps.
