A Direct Payment gives you choice, control and independence over your care and support. Cornwall Council pays your personal budget directly to you. This allows you to arrange and pay for support that meets the needs agreed in your care and support plan. Such as employing a personal assistant, using a support agency, or funding short breaks for your carer.
