Our crews
Truro Community Fire Station is a day staffed station. Emergency response is provided by two watches (Orange Watch and Green Watch).
It is also supported by an on-call crew.
Staff training night is Tuesday 7pm to 9pm

We welcome applications from anyone interested in becoming an on-call firefighter.
All shortlisted applicants will be:
- invited to an assessment interview (regardless of whether there is a vacancy at the station or not).
- If successful they will be placed in the talent pool to be selected for progression to the 'Approved to Ride Course'. This will be as and when an appropriate vacancy at their fire station arises.
