Report dog fouling

Please read our information on how we are supporting residents and businesses, as well as information on affected services.

If there is a lot of dog faeces in a particular area please report this to the Waste and Recycling Team. They will arrange for the area to be cleaned without investigation.

Evidence we need to investigate

We will investigate complaints we receive based on the level of evidence provided.

For example we would be in a better position to take action if you are able to provide a full description of what happened, including

  • Date
  • Time
  • Location
  • What you witnessed
  • Description of the dog/owner and as much information as possible about the incident
  • Any information regarding the offender - which could include name/address (if known), vehicle registration number or any other identifying feature.

Unfortunately we are unable to invesitgate one-off incidents without sufficient evidence.
