COVID-19 working arrangements
The normal collection day, displayed during the ordering process for your area, may change by up to 3 days. Our contractor will attempt to contact you to confirm your collection day at least one working day in advance. If for any reason they are unable to contact you, please leave your waste out on the day displayed during the booking process.
Due to social distancing rules, we are unable to offer assisted collections for bulky waste at this time. We will not be able enter your property to assist with removing items. All items must be made available outside for our crews to collect. Please do not approach the crews or offer to help them.
Bulky Waste Collections over Easter Bank Holiday
Please be aware that we do not operate the Bulky Waste Collection Service on bank holidays.
Collections for postcodes that would normally have been made on Good Friday or Easter Monday will be made on Saturday 3 April and this will show as your collection day during the booking process.
Our contractor may however be able to offer you an earlier collection day when they contact you to confirm your collection.
Please check your postcode against our Household Bulky Waste Collection Days to see if your area is likely to be affected by the Easter Bank Holiday.
Any orders placed after midnight on Good Friday for Monday collection areas will not then be collected until Monday 12 April.
You can use our household bulky waste collection service for items that are too big for normal household rubbish and recycling collections. There is a charge for this service.
Before ordering your household bulky waste collection please look at the information on this page to find out:
- how much it costs
- what we can't collect.
Please note that we cannot take commercial waste. If you run a business, which includes holiday accommodation and charities, please see our commercial waste page.
