Travelling from the East (via the town bypass to avoid congestion)
From the A30, follow the signs to the West Cornwall Hospital. You will pass Pensans CP School and the Fire Station - both on your right. At the mini roundabout by the hospital (Post Office on the left) turn right into Penalverne Drive. Drive straight down Penalverne Drive and turn left opposite the Police station at the bottom of the hill into Penalverne car park which is the closest to St John’s Hall. For parking stays of more than 3 hours use St Erbyns car park (at the top of Penalverne Drive).
Travelling from the East (through the town centre)
Follow the signs to the town centre. Drive up through Market Jew Street (the main shopping area), bear right at the top past the zebra crossing until you come to traffic lights. Go straight across at the lights. Turn right just after Alfred Smith furniture shop and drive round behind St John’s Hall to access Penalverne car park. You can also drive past St John’s Hall and then turn right into Penalverne Drive and right again into Penalverne car park (opposite the Police station). For parking stays of more than 3 hours use St Erbyns car park (at the top of Penalverne Drive).
Travelling from the West
On the A30, take the 3rd exit at the Mount Misery roundabout and drive straight into town along Alverton Road. At the First and Last Pub, bear left into Penalverne Drive and immediately turn right opposite the Police Station into Penalverne car park. For parking stays of more than 3 hours use St Erbyns car park further up Penalverne Drive on the right.
