All at Cornwall Council are saddened to learn of the death of our former Cabinet member Edwina Hannaford.
Edwina was elected on Cornwall Council in 2009 representing Looe West and Lansallos and latterly Looe West, Pelynt, Lansallos & Lanteglos and had been on Caradon District Council. Adult Social Care Precept 2023
What is the Adult Social Care Precept?
Since 2016/17 the Government has allowed Local Authorities to charge an additional ‘precept’ on top of their core Council Tax charge. This is to help pay for Adult Social Care services.
The income that is generated from the precept is ring fenced for Adult Social Care services only – it cannot be spent on anything else.

Amounts levied on Cornwall Council 2024
Included within the Council's overall budget are levies which are payable to
Environment Agency (South West Region)
Cornwall Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Authority (CIFCA).

Council committed to securing Heartlands to serve the local community
