Evidence of 10,000 years of Cornish history has been unearthed by Cornwall Council’s Cornwall Archaeological Unit (CAU) during the work to upgrade the A30 between Chiverton and Carland Cross. He was battling alcoholism and couldn't see a way out. One night he found himself ready to end his life but a fisherman found him.
