Round of a-paws for Cornwall’s award-winning dog welfare team
Cornwall Council’s dog welfare and enforcement officers have been recognised for the outstanding care they provide lost and abandoned pets.
The Council’s stray dog service has for the 12th year running received the RSPCA’s Gold Standard PawPrints award, which is given to local authorities and organisations for going above and beyond.

Anyone working in Cornwall’s creative industries - from fashion designers and filmmakers to artists and architects - are being asked to complete a short online survey.

Armed Forces Day flag relay to start in Bodmin
The Armed Forces Day flag relay will start in Bodmin next week when Councillor Phil Cooper, Bodmin’s Town Mayor, transports the flag through the town’s streets ahead of Armed Forces Day taking place in Cornwall in June 2023.
