Wine boxes

Can I recycle it?

The commonly available "wine box with tap" can be recycled but will need a little bit of work to do so.

First, remove the inner plastic bag, and then cut the plastic tap away from the bag.

Which container?

The cardboard box goes in your orange bag for cardboard.

The plastic tap goes in your red bag for plastics and cans.

The plastic bag will either need to go in your black bag rubbish, or alternatively take to your nearest supermarket that has a suitable collection point for soft plastics.

Useful information

If you no longer have use for your cardboard boxes, you could try posting them on a local selling platform for free. Somebody who in the process of moving house could make use of them.
