Can I recycle it?
Thermal paper till receipts, as used in newer card machines and tills, are not considered paper for recycling but are accepted as part of your household recycling collections.
Please check the type of paper used to ensure it is recycled correctly. If the paper looks shiny it is likely to be thermal paper.
You may wish to consider shredding your receipts first for security.
Which container?
Standard paper (older) receipts go in your blue bag for paper.
Thermal paper (newer card machines) receipts go in your orange bag for recycling.
