Can I recycle it?
Sweet wrappers are not collected as part of your recycling collection.
Many supermarkets and high street stores now provide collection points for sweet wrappers, plastic bags, plastic film, other "soft" plastics, crisp packets and pet food pouches. Otherwise, they should be disposed of in your general waste bin.
Useful information
Some sweet varieties, such as Quality Street, allow you to separate the metal foil from the plastic wrapper.
If you can do this collect a tennis ball size piece of foil and place into your red bag for recycling and put the plastic wrappers in the general waste bin.
