Can I recycle it?
Crisp packets are not currently recycled as part of your recycling collection.
Although the inside of the packet is shiny and looks like foil, it is in fact a metallised plastic film and they should be placed in your rubbish bin.
Many major supermarkets have recycling collection points for carrier bags, "soft" plastics (such as film lids, wrappers, bubble wrap, etc as well as crisp packets and sweet wrappers.
