Clingfilm

Can I recycle it?

Clingfilm is not collected as part of your recycling collection and must be put in your general rubbish.

Many major supermarkets have recycling collection points for carrier bags and films.

Useful information

There are plenty of alternatives for single-use clingfilm such as:

  • silicone lids
  • storage containers such as Tupperware
  • food wraps such as Beeswax wraps
