Christmas decorations

Can I recycle it?

Christmas decorations are not collected as part of your recycling collection.

You can take Christmas lights and electrical decorations for recycling at Household Waste Recycling Centres except the site at Dudnance Lane (Pool).

Glass baubles and tinsel are not recyclable. Please place baubles (wrap up broken ones) and tinsel in your rubbish bin.

Natural materials on wreaths such as ivy, fir, mistletoe and holly can be home composted so long as they aren’t covered in lots of glitter.

Useful information

Unwanted Christmas decorations in good condition can be donated to charity shops for re-sale and re-use.
