Chemicals and White Spirit

Can I recycle it?

Chemicals and White Spirit are highly toxic and hazardous substances and any items containing them must be handled with care.

Do NOT place in your recycling or household rubbish.

The liquid MUST be stored in its original, labelled container. Any unknown, unidentifiable liquid will NOT be accepted either by your kerbside collection crews or at any HWRC - please do NOT attempt to transport unknown liquids.

There are chemical storage containers at every HWRC (except the one at Dudnance Lane, Pool) where you can deposit labelled and identifiable liquids safely. Simply take the item there with the lid secured and the staff will assist you.
