Building materials

Can I recycle?

Building materials are not collected as part of your recycling or rubbish collection.

Building materials such as asbestos, plasterboard and rubble can be taken to some of our Household Waste and Recycling Centres. A free allowance limit is in place for this waste stream and a charge may apply.

Commercial building materials cannot enter Household Waste and Recycling Centres.
