NHS Volunteer Responders

Your NHS needs you!

NHS Volunteer Responders has been set up to support the NHS during the COVID-19 outbreak. To do this we need an 'army' of volunteers who can support the 1.5m people in England who are at most risk from the virus to stay well. Our doctors, nurses and other professionals will be able to refer people in to NHS Volunteer Responders and be confident that they have been matched with a reliable, named volunteer.

Work on a fruit or veg farm

If you are interested in volunteering to work on a fruit or veg farm, find out more and register your interest at Pick for Britain or Farm Cornwall.

Age UK

Take part in neighbourly volunteering and help support older people who are staying at home due to the coronavirus epidemic.

The services delivered by Age UK and their partners typically require an application and training process that can take several weeks to complete.

They’ve put together a simple training video and their own spin on a postcard you can complete to offer help and to provide some key information to your older neighbours.
