Country parks


Why not take a walk or go for a ride through one of Cornwall's country parks.


Kit Hill

With its 400 acres (152 hectares) for public enjoyment, Kit Hill Country Park is an ideal place for a wide range of activities including bird watching, kite flying and picnics.


Mount Edgcumbe

Mount Edgcumbe House and Country Park was purchased from the 7th Earl in 1971 by Cornwall Council and Plymouth City Council. It is managed by the Mount Edgcumbe joint committee in equal partnership.


Seaton Valley

Seaton Valley Countryside Park has been owned and managed by Caradon since 1995. It covers 53.8 hectares, including a sensory garden, ponds, cycleways and footpaths, with disabled access on the main footpath and to the garden


Tehidy

Tehidy is the largest area of woodland in West Cornwall. Now managed as a Country Park, Tehidy has over 9 miles (14.5km) of paths and 250 acres of peaceful woods and lakes to explore
