Cornwall Library customers will be able to use their existing library cards to borrow books from Fowey Micro Library. Customers can continue to use their library card to visit and borrow from all other libraries in Cornwall. If you are not a library member and wish to join, please visit the join the library page.

Customers will have the opportunity to:

  • Browse and borrow from a selection of books which will include fiction, non-fiction and children’s books. The library stock will be provided and managed by Cornwall Council.
  • Use the “click and collect service”- Customers will be able to reserve books and other resources from the online library catalogue and collect in the new library. Reserved books will be delivered twice a month. Please note that some books may take a while to arrive if someone else has borrowed them.
  • Chat to a friendly Library Volunteer

Please note that the mobile library will continue to visit until the August date (Monday 16).

The mobile library will park near the entrance to the Squires Field Community Centre.  The service will be available every 4 weeks on a Monday between 2.00pm and 3.00pm. The dates and times are subject to change/cancellation.  Date of visits are advertised on the Mobile Library page so please check for any updates.

Using the ‘click and collect’ service you can order books for collection using the online catalogue and collect when we visit. We will also be offering a limited ‘staff selection’. You tell us your favourite genre and staff will issue a quick selection of books based on your preference. You can then take away some books even if the items that you have reserved do not arrive in time for your scheduled stop.
