If you are homeless, or at risk of becoming homeless, we may be able to help you

We will try to stop you from becoming homeless, for example, by negotiating with your landlord. 

Please do not give up your home without seeking proper advice first.

There is a shortage of accommodation in Cornwall. The quickest way of finding accommodation is usually by privately renting

Rough Sleeping

If you are rough sleeping or know about someone who is rough sleeping:

  • Alert the local authority and outreach services by contacting Streetlink online

The duty to refer

Some public bodies must refer households to our service in certain circumstances. Public bodies can read more in a Guide to the Duty to Refer.

Referrals of this type can be made to us via housing jigsaw or by email to dutytorefer@cornwall.gov.uk. If emailing please provide:

  • household name
  • contact details
  • confirmation of consent
