We will try to stop you from becoming homeless, for example, by negotiating with your landlord.
Please do not give up your home without seeking proper advice first.
There is a shortage of accommodation in Cornwall. The quickest way of finding accommodation is usually by privately renting.
Contact our early prevention service if you are in housing difficulties, but you are ok living where you are for the next 56 days.

The duty to refer
Some public bodies must refer households to our service in certain circumstances. Public bodies can read more in a Guide to the Duty to Refer.
Referrals of this type can be made to use via housing jigsaw or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. If emailing please provide:
- household name
- contact details
- confirmation of consent
