At times we are also a grant holder for various funds, and we maintain a database of grant funders. We can support you if you need specific items of equipment, or funds for essential living costs, if you are facing difficulty with bills.

Payroll and Managed Accounts Service Cornwall and Isles of Scilly
Our friendly and professional team provide payroll and managed accounts services for clients who manage their own care and support via a Personal Budget. We:

Act as our clients’ agent with HMRC and process all aspects of payroll. For example, end of year returns and P60s, and advise employers of mandatory requirements.

Provide a fully comprehensive pension support service.

Manage personal budgets on behalf of our clients, receiving your care and support budget direct from the Council or NHS and making all necessary payments on your behalf.

Humans Cornwall and Isles of Scilly
Our team deliver a hospital discharge service through holistic and personalised support for adults, for up to six weeks. We're dedicated to supporting you to return home from various health and social care settings, or if you have high level support needs in the community.
Our goal is to wrap support around you, draw down on all the necessary assistance to stabilise your situation. We act as your advocate if required, and ensure you remain as well as possible and in your own home.
You can even self-refer if you have a surgery coming up to plan a swift return home. We can also help take care of any responsibilities you may, have during your hospital admission.

Cornwall Carers Service
We are a delivery partner in Cornwall Carers Service, contracted by Cornwall Council led by Cornwall Rural Community Charity. We deliver:
- A whole age Carers Advice Line for unpaid carers, open daily for any carer related enquiry.
- The Carers Emergency Card service.
- Weekly Newsletter and socials.

The Cornwall Memory Cafe Network
The Cornwall Memory Cafe Network includes over 44 cafes across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, run by more than 600 amazing volunteers. Helping people living with memory loss and their carers to live well through creating welcoming, safe spaces in their communities. They provide opportunities for:
- social interaction
- sharing experiences
- building connections
- quality time
- learning
- gaining access to resources
- cognitive and physical activity
All leading to enhanced emotional and physical wellbeing.
Memory Cafes in Cornwall are free to attend, and welcome people with or without a formal dementia diagnosis (cafe dependent). They usually run for two-hour sessions and can vary in frequency, such as fortnightly or monthly.

Dementia Together
We understand that living with, or caring for someone with dementia, can make a difference to someone’s life. We aim to provide personalised and holistic support at the right time, to anyone living in Cornwall who has been diagnosed with dementia, whether at home or in hospital, or an unpaid carer, relative or friend. We work together and with other services, to ensure that people receive what matters to them. Over the phone, or face to face we provide advice, guidance, support and the opportunity to meet others who are living with dementia.

The Advocacy Fellows
The Advocacy Fellows: Heroes voicing for and empowering young adults with Learning Disabilities. Nothing about us without us!
We recognise the crucial role of lived experience in shaping services. Yet there are few opportunities for self-advocacy and representation. This is evident at local and national levels. Particularly for young people with learning disabilities.
The Advocacy Fellows, was design by a group of young people to:
- Promote inclusivity
- Value narratives of people who are under-represented.
- Promote the voice of young adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs.
The Advocacy Fellows have their own Podcast. This is available on disAbility Cornwall’s DISCOVER Voices YouTube Channel.
